My First Year of Metal Detecting by Dan Thompson
I started metal detecting in the Fall of 2002. After I had been hunting for a year I wrote a short story about my first year of metal detecting and sent it in to White's Electronics. They published it on their website in their February 2004 Treasure Stories.
