Text Box: Joe Calafato is our CLASS RING RETURN coordinator. This program has been in effect since January 1995. The purpose of this program is to provide a means of monetarily rewarding club members who find and return, to its owner, a class ring. Gold rings are very exciting to find, but a class ring is worth far more to its owner than the value of the gold content. Class rings are also fairly easy to return because of the school names and initials or full name inscribed inside. Many of our members have returned class rings. The satisfaction of seeing how happy the owner is when he or she is reunited with their lost find is great, but it is nice to be rewarded for your good deed. The club will pay a reward of $20.00 for returned class rings as long as the following criteria are met. 1. The ring must be a class ring. 2. The ring must have been found by a member of the club. 3. The ring must be turned over to Joe Calafato, our ring return chairman. 4. The ring must be presented to the owner at our meeting if at all possible 5. There must be a photograph and the owners name turned over to the editor. There must not have been a reward already received.
