Text Box: Story of the Lost and Found Ring
Text Box: I lost my ring while spending the day at the beach with my friend Karol and her two children. I noticed my ring was not on my finger , as I sat on the beach, but I figured I took it off before I came to the beach. I got home around 6:30pm and frantically searched the house for my ring and unfortunately came to the conclusion I had taken it off to put sunscreen on my son, then got out of my chair without placing the ring back on my finger. My daughter and I drove back to Redondo Beach and arrived just as the sun was setting. We searched and searched for my ring without any success.
I cried all the way home. Karol then called and told me about her brother, Chuck. He might be able to help find it with his metal detector. I told her I would appreciate any help he could offer me. Well, the phone rang the next day at 8:00am and Karol said “Can you be ready in 15 minutes?” I ,of course, said ”Yes, and thank you.” I met Chuck with Karol, her two children, and my two children to defy all odds…...have Chuck find my wedding ring at Redondo Beach. Chuck proceeded to “gear up” and went right to work. He methodically covered area after area. After about 30 minutes, I was beginning to give up hope as the area was large, the sand had been combed that morning, and chances were high that someone else, with a metal detector, had already found my special ring. Then low and behold, Chuck defied all odds and delivered what he promised to do...he found my wedding ring. I thanked Chuck and cried with happiness. Chuck is a true friend as he was kind enough to help me. We can’t thank him enough for helping to find my ring. My ring has three stones, the middle represents my husband, David, and the two side stones represent my two children, Madison and Maxwell. I received this ring as a gift two years ago from my husband to replace my original wedding ring as it represents our family. A BIG Thank You to Chuck, as he made a real difference in our lives.

Chuck,
Thanks again for finding Jill’s wedding ring. The sentimental value of the ring is beyond words! We are still amazed that you were actually able to find it, and are grateful to have a friend like you! You are our Hero!
Regards,
David (Jill’s Husband)
